Opera Bakery Cafe is a delightful, locally owned and operated bakery cafe focusing on the best of the home-made delicacies.  All items are hand-made fresh and from scratch – no additives or preservatives.

Opera specializes in custom wedding cakes, birthday cakes, naughty cakes and cup cakes. Unique, seasonal products are rolled out every week! We also serve lunch and specialty coffees.

Your Baker: Kiera Hardie

Award Winning 2011 Young Entrepreneur of the Year voted by North Bay and District Chamber of Commerce. Kiera Hardie opened the doors of Opera Bakery Café in 2009 bringing with her influence from an eclectic culinary education. She graduated Canadore College’s Culinary Management Program in 2005. Kiera then worked for Juno Award winning vocalist and the Food Network’s Italian Chef Carmine Accogli owner of The Big Ragu. In 2007, Kiera moved on to the title of Pastry Chef for world renown Chef Susur Lee at his restaurants Susur and Madeline’s .
